Anti Gun people

Well if they knew where to aquire em as they were pulled off the market a few years ago becuase of just how leathal they are, and then they had better be a faster and more accurate shooter. I have won a few awards when I was in 4H for target shooting, have completed the police range certification here and feel very sure I would win.

Its a dog eat dog world out there and Im pretty hungry, lol

I know I dont have to have one to be safe. I leave my door unlocked when Im home, my keys and wallet are in my car as we type.


A gun to me as far as secuirty goes is like auto and home insurance. I know I will never do anything to have to use it but I have to have it incase some fool hits me. I drive a year worth of miles every month, not a wreck one (knock on wood) but I still have to pay high rates to cover for idiots that cant drive for shit. I have guns first becuase I love em, the looks, the history, second entertainment, last to feel safe.

if i ever have enough money and time to invest in a gun (maintaining it and regularly using it) i would buy some sort of rifle. i think that pistols were created for one purpose, killing people. they are not used for hunting animals (cept those fancy ones... yikes those are crazy... or unless you are shooting gophers or coons on your porch/ property... then a nice little pistol is fine...)...

sure you may be safe with your gun, hooray for you. but theres a million people out there who arent and yeh people die of gun shots a hell of a lot more in american than here.

hell yes i agree with that. i feel better knowing that if i get attacked by someone the odds are its with a bat or even a knife (i think its illegal to carry a knife anyways) and not a fucking gun. people dont need guns.

whats so great... feelings of empowerment? they're destructive? you can kill things? i dunno.. it just seems really primitive to me.

yeah. at least a fertilizer explosion woulda been quicker. though, if any of those people had a gun and was any good with it, they mighta ended that sooner.

 

A law against anything is only as strong as its enforcement and punishment. Speed up them electric chairs and leathal injections a bit for violent crimes and I assure you the rates would drop and damn fast. Knowing you can kill and get off with a 10 year sentence due to overcrowding does not have the same impact as knowing you can kill and will be killed for doing it.


Yup I am all for the death penalty and a damn swift one at that. I dont care if its all to humane or comfortable to the person, they should have taken that idea into thier heads before hand.

 

if guns or cars weren't being mass produced, sold and imported in wholesale quantities, precisely how would anyone, out or in, of any law, get them, other then to make them themselves? and if there was no place to buy ammo or gas stations and paved roads?

that is the way to get rid of anything, not to try and outlaw possession of it. and i AM for getting rid of concealable personal balistic sidearms.

but not for criminalizing POSSESSION of ANYthing! (which only creates opportunities for politicly motivated abuse and DOES NOT solve or get rid, of anything)

(millitarily signifigant armament i think everyone should have a right to possess, including cruise missles and abrams tanks equiped with launchers to launch them from)

and of course we should arm bamby too. how democratic is it for wildlife not to have the hardware to fight back?

I do honestly believe in the death penalty for murder, not accidental death but 1st degree, yes. You seek out and go out of your way to kill another person then why should you be allowed to live much less let me pay you to live? We dont have an island to cast off our unwanted but if we would just go in there and blow the hell out of the middle east there would be a great spot!

 

Hell yeah, you'd have my vote! Live like the way this country was built upon, hard work and a gun! Your gonna be a crimminal than you'd better be fast with a gun.

I think I would take up hunting again if that would happen, would actually toss an awesome challenge into the mix.

 

As for laws and guns the only one that gun laws hurt are honest people. What is an illegal weapons charge gonna get ya (5yrs) what is 5yrs to a convicted murderer?

Well why dont you offer to pay to take care of these fine upstanding people yourself and save us all a little tax dollars? I personally pay a heap of em and hate to see an old lady not able to afford her medication while some worthless piece of shit is being cared for, but thats just me, I guess you'd rather let your grandma go without and support a killer, good choice.

 

You'd really hate my idea then too that if your in prison and you commit crimes like rape ect in there that if left to me you would be killed too. We kill problem animals when they wont change behavior so if you cant make it in society we send you to prison, if you cant make it there you should die.


I think working off a debt to society should be just that, hard ass labor for your whole term, going to school after work just like college kids do.

I think that when you serve your time and you are released that should be it, all your rights should be given back to you since you paid your debt not be left with rights taken away.

would you shut the fuck up? people at dawson were going crazy because some asshole came in with a huge gun and started firing at random. one girl was killed and 11 were injured. there was panic everywhere. i was among the several who were running for their lives.

i think guns should be completely taken away form the public. no one has the right to just walk into a place and start shooting. the devastation and paranoia and trauma and guilt it has left on the people will take a long time to die down. don't start talking to me about why the fuck you like guns. open up your eyes.
