bottle caps

    i drink a lot of zimas, (be quiet! i like them! :p ) and for some reason i dont throw the bottle caps away. i have a TON of them now! i tried making buttons out of them but they are of poor quality. any ideas on what to do with all of these bottle caps? (other than throw them away :) )

    a bottle cap mosaic could be cool, if you have different colors... i guess you could paint them too if they're all silver or something. i like mosaics as tabletops or to border a mirror.

    You can make a sort of curtain with them. Punch holes in them and string them together. Sounds crazy, but it looks cool, especially if you take the time to hammer them flat.

    You could decorate your door frame (indoor or our door) with them. They should hammer right in with the label facing out (i'd put masking tape on it so it doesn't get scuffed when you hammer it).

    I've seen people use bottle caps for buttons on bags, or you could make magnets with them, If you have a bunch they could be great stocking stuffers for friends at x-mas.

    awesome ideas, i like the curtain idea, but i think the button idea would be great because i do *a lot* of sewing. thanks:)
