Does anyone here listen to music while high on pot? Probably almost everyone does, right?

But how many people compile their own CDs? I know I do. I like to collect trippy or cool tunes, and when I've got enough for a full CD, I burn it, smoke my pipe, and trip out over it. I mostly like psychedelic, techno, and industrial, but I usually have a good mix of everything. Anyone else do this sort of thing? If there's enough people on this forum who do this, we might use this thread to share track lists.

I kinda like just listening to vinyl records themselves cause they sound way better than digitally projected music. Mostly 60s and 70s stuff :).

hmm, well here's a short list of some of my top rated songs... i havent even gone through most of my songs to rate them, so this is a pretty small sampling. i do have a wide range of tastes, but they all sound good to me: also i'm down for people suggesting more music like the stuff i put up... i could go for some good rap, reggae, and hip hop, never gotten into that much before now.

    alphabetical:

Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know
    Alanis Morissette - You Learn
    All-American Rejects - Move Along
Asia - Heat of the Moment (lol i love when cartman sings this song... check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8zbcOu6eyo)
    Beck - Girl
Blind Guardian - (you can pretty much pick any track by them, it's all so fucking great)
Bob Marley, and tons of it
Bone Thugs N Harmony - Blaze It (lol, these guys are great, i have the Art of War - best songs on it?)
Bright Eyes - (i'm really a big fan, but only if you like emo)
    Coldplay - the first album
    CCR - Green River
CCR - Wrote a Song For Everyone
Cypress Hill - Hits from the Bong
    Damian Marley - Confrontation
    Damian Marley - Pimpa's Paradise
Damian Marley - Road to Zion
    Deltron - 3030
Demons & Wizards - Fiddler on the Green
    Demons & Wizards - Dorian
Demons & Wizards - The Crimson King (all demons and wizards is fantastic)
    Devotchka - How it Ends
Devotchka - Charlotte Mittnacht (The Fabulous)
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
    DragonForce - Starfire
    DragonForce - Evening Star
The Flaming Lips - Do You Realise??
The Flaming Lips - Yeah Yeah Yeah Song
Fleetwood Mac - Never Going Back Again
    Fleetwood Mac - Dreams
    Heart - Crazy on You
    Heiruspecs - Dollar
    Heiruspecs - 5ves
Janis Joplin - the classics (me and bobby mcgee, a piece of my heart, mercedes benz)
    Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
    Jimi Hendrix - the classics
    Joni Mitchell - the classics
    Zeppelin, just listen to anything
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Don't Ask Me No Questions
Morrissey - most of the 'world of morrissey'
Neil Young - Needle and the Damage Done
Neil Young - Cortez the Killer
    Nightwish (and plenty of it)
    Nirvana - the classics
    Pavement - Ann Don't Cry
    Pavement - Silence Kit
Pavement - Cut your hair (best thing to do with pavement is just to get a random album)
    Pilate - Into Your Hideout
Pilate - Self Control for Life's Speed
    Pilate - Alright
Sonata Arctica - plenty of it
    Tenacious D - everything
    Three 6 Mafia
    Tripping Daisy

then there's a couple bands that are more just kinda relax, put-on-an-album sorta stuff:

grateful dead, doobie brothers, moody blues, phish, pink floyd, rhcp, santana...

that's all pretty mainstream stuff from throughout the ages... feel free to suggest some more... i just have gotten my music collection up and going again, i lost it all a little while back.

I was gonna record a mix at some point today so when I can be fucked to wire the pc up to the decks I will. I'll play a mashup of psychedelic music, electronic and non-electronic, good smoking music basically.... Stay tuned it should be up by tonight....

yea.. i use to be into the mix thing.. but hell... i just like whole cds usually... so i dont waste cds by compiling a mix.. because my musical taste can change from day to day depending on my mood.. last week i had this huge ska/punk trip that i was on.. now im good for awhile.. back to the norm
