I'm looking for knowledgeable advice, although really, at this point any comments or opinions are welcomed and appreciated.

May be a bit gross, but need some help.
Here's the thing, for several weeks I have been suffering from a cold that was never quite cured. I got sick, and before I was well again, I was exposed to rain and basically, I haven't been taking care of myself during this time. So I have a cough that won't go away completely (comes and goes) and a congested chest. (phlegm?) Ok, I've been smoking weed during this time (every other day), well actually vaporizing, and during my high, thanks to weed's dilating properties, I'll remove lots of phlegm and can feel that I'll soon be better..... but this is not the case, hence me posting.

The question is, should I stop smoking? let my body heal itself? or, keep smoking since it really helps to remove my lung's build-up, which I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to otherwise, although the actual smoke (vapor) does irritate my throat and lungs...

    I am confused.

stop for a while, to see if you get better or worse. weed does relieve many of those symptoms, although the irritation might prevent your lungs from healing.
although i think what you really need to do is to avoid rain, wind, cold etc so you get better.

yes, I think I should stop for a while... at least for a week, because I got this trip planned, so hehe... what I do know though, is I'm getting frustrated.

I train tennis everyday....today for example it fucking rained on us again, so that's that. It's impossible to predict the weather.....I hate the weather in this city. It could be cold in the morning, rain at noon and hot in the afternoon... jeez... I'm from El Paso, Texas, basically desert.... hot in the summer and cold in the winter, like it fucking should be...sorry, but the weather here pisses me off.

Smoke it up, brother! That's what I say. It can't really HARM, can it?? Although, if it hurts your throat, then I would smoke less....

And actually, weather doesn't create more colds. In the winters, no windows are open or anything, so the air is just recirculated. That helps spread colds and such. If you are out a lot in the cold or rain, though, and you aren't bundled up or whatever, your body focuses more on staying warm and your immune system drops a little, becoming a little more susceptible to illnesses.

my experience is that you get incredibly fucked up when you're sick and smoke weed. I don't get sick that often so last winter when I did I smoked and got blitzed out of my skull. End of the story is I was better within a few days. So I think smoking would have it's benefits
