those are the closest bands to Neil Young i could think of off the top of my head
but if you want like the modern Beatles(just trippier) go for "Of Montreal"

I am sorry but I do not see the resemblance between Pink Floyd-Animals and Neil Young

there really isn't but like the first and last song is acoustic
