the fact that one of our pregnant nanny goats was just attacked by a farm guests dog an chewed up pretty good,or the fact that there takin the dog that they have had for 6 years to the humane society over it.. i meen the dog cant run loose here anymore, its the second goat shes got after.. i just know its gonna be hard for them when she gos..
Shit sorry that sucks. Had a friend visit me once with a Husky. The dog killed 6 of my chickens before we could get it to stop. Just ran from bird to bird-killed it and went to the next. They did not destroy the dog though? We just had a lot chicken that night and they paid me for my birds too. The animal was just doing what is normal for them. I laugh at people who buy dogs without honoring what that breed was bred for. They are so pissy when the border Collie is chasing the kids all over the yard. LOL Ass holes it's what that Dog was born to do-herd shit. Either way sorry about your goat. Peace
oh its gonna be fine,,we just wonderin if shes gonna miscarrige now.. that would suck.. i just dont understand why they dont just keep the dog chained..
I thought I rolled up at an akward moment and the goat looked like it was spooked as hell. But maybe I showed up at the right time, who knows. I myself have only met two dogs ive liked, hhb`bs black dog and a friends white great pearineese? or however ya spell it. Thats why im a strong supporter of getting rid of every dog on the earth and replace them with a cat, just think about it......the er would have no more dog bite victims, goats would live longer, shoe companys wouldnt have to spend money on all the no shit sticking tread patterns and such. The dog catcher, usually some fat unshaven reject from the local po po department would have to improve thier life. I could go one and on and really go on if I keep drinking coffee but I wont. Just remember....shit I forgot.
my 10 lb cat put my husband in the ER. it was dave's fault, though. but still, it was really funny to watch a teeny little cat win the fight.
i really like dogs, but i'm definitely more a cat person. they're so low maintenence. and with two small children and a husband, i have enough animals in need of feeding, watering, washing, walking, entertaining and petting.
i personally dont particularly care for cats or dogs or many other animals unless they are of actual use to me in some shape or form.....I like critters in cages in aquariums or barns.... cats are yuck n dogs well they are a pack animal that us humans decided to pull out n pretend they are human,,,, simple fact is they aint human n never will be no matter how hard we try n attempt it... n will always have the pack animal mentality,,,, ceptin of course lil ankle biters that are just too small to be out on there own,,,, n those lil runts generally aint gonna kill yer cow or goat or kid i just dont get the "i know my animal bullshit" when it comes to dogs,,,, cuz most dont n then when shit hits the fan over what they been warned about,,, its someone elses fault.... or they were just playin or some other stupid excuse.... as far as yesterdays incident.. it wasnt the first n ppl just dont wanna listen,,, so i will take the bad guy role in the end n be called "unrainbow" when the dog either has to die,,, be gotten rid of or ppl need to be removed....
Well if that was the second time the dog went after the goats then I figure the best cure is put the owner to sleep and chain the dog. But Im kinda extreme.
I think you can chain the owners and the dog, lol I cant believe anyone would be so disrespectful for anothers property. I mean the first time, ok, I mean maybe they just did not know but there should have been no excuse for the second time.
there dogs are there children. the problem is even a child can be just plain evil,,and as is the case with humans, the parents are always the last ones to see that fact.. denial is part of human nature for far to many..
my neighbors had this great australian shepherd. he'd get them sheep and goats moving just right...he was also handy in that he kept an eye on my daughter in the yard. they were great friends. i kinda miss that dog. he was WAY faster than my mountainous pregnant ass...
