And bird, that's actually a good point. I'd imagine that since most of the threads that xpudmuddle supposedly copied from skankasaurus or whoever where posted in RT, that's where skankasaurus (or whoever) decided to post and call them out. Or it could just be a crazy coincidence involving moon rotations and planetary alignments, and small pieces of green paper being moved.

Actually I did... I have a movie clip setting on my camera and I capture stills.

 

I can't believe I just read 20 pages of that garbage.

yes, damn near impossible. I"ve been trying for years, and I've yet to get one. and photography is my passion. I've got rainbows, and shit loads of storm clouds, but no lightning yet. I was close last weekend, but nothing.

If your camera has a movie setting then it becomes much easier.

 

but thats not the same...... I can't control shutter speed and f-stop settings with the video. only a grainy video still. I'm not pissing with that. I want a real pic

 

I can't adjust them either but really can't complain about many of the lightning photos I've managed to get. I think it's as much the adrenalin rush from being outside when lightning is hitting nearby.as it is the capture.

 

I really think Mudpuddle needs to post in this thread.

 

Hmm...this is really stupid...so what if she took the pictures, they're only pictures not as though she stole like money or something anyway it's only internet. Get over yourself.
