just came up with conclusion. If your not proud to be a stoner and always hide it and shit from your friends, weed isnt you so you should stop smoking it.
Ok I have to disagree solely because weed is illegal. So being proud of being a stoner can cost you jobs and ruin your reputation and shit. Not to mention getting arrested. I see nothing wrong with hiding it from people that don't smoke.
I disagree. Kids who smoke weed to "escape" from reality and usuing blunts to "fix his/her problems" shouldnt smoke. Thats just 1 opinion people, not saying you guys are wrong or anything either.
yeah smokindude i agree with you in that no one should smoke weed to escape. Weed really doesnt make me escape my problems. It makes me relaxed and helps me think deeper about my problems but they are still there and I'm always very aware of them no matter how much weed I smoke.
Same with me, whenever I think of my problems when im baked, i get motivated and they dont seem that hard anymore, but im well aware of em all.
People SHOULDN'T smoke to escape reality. Nor should they drink to escape the pains of daily life, they shouldn't smoke cigarettes to relieve stress, they shouldn't over eat due to depression. It is easy to list a million things people SHOULDN'T do. Some people don't procliam themselves as stoners because of the stoner image and I don't blame them.
but imagine you live in singapore where they whip you or sentence you to death for possession of any drug... in that case you would want to avoid anyone from finding out, because it's just way too risky. i don't think that i would smoke at all under those conditions, but i'm sure somebody does.
With that being an exception... I just don't like how you're being shallow and thinking somebody who doesn't want people to know about the illegal things he/she does shouldn't do it.
i used to be like this, but this summer it all changed, i smoked and i told everyone. I also dont smoke to escape reality it makes me think in a different way that helps me out in school and with my daily problems. If i want to be without worrys ill take alot of xanax, but that is a once in a year oppurtunity for me.
now.. ok.. someone asks you if you smoke and you lie... say your best friend.. then yea.. thats shady... but if he never asks... then is there really any shame in not letting him know something he doesnt want to know about?
