I think I would have been suited better living 100+ years ago, a guy alone, a horse, a gun and just roam.
you were born too soon I was born too late but every time I look at that ugly lake it reminds me of me it reminds me of me
i have always thought the same thing of myself,,,, woulda been better suited to living in days gone by,,,, instead i just get the "you are awfully old fashioned" line... ceptin for my drunken sailor tongue...
Perhaps you were, a little regressive hypno-therapy and you could could find yourself right in the middle of an 1800's range war The power of mesmerism has spread far beyond the gray monastic wall of the yogi priests, modern science has advanced their ancient art. Hotwater
I don't feel like I was meant for this modern society in some ways. I'm really old fashioned sometimes. I'd be happy living on a prairie somewhere. Life long ago seemed so much more simple, more fulfilling in many aspects. Then again, the grass is always greener on the other side. If it weren't for the modern world and it's advances, my twins and I wouldn't be alive today. So for that I'm extremely grateful.
Which age ? Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) Mesolithic (Middle Stone Age) or Neolithic (New Stone Age) ? The differences are vast - basically the difference between waking up each morning in cave, or waking up in a constructed fortification or house. Hotwater
I was born too late too. My mom held me in for sixteen months.J/K Seriously though, my love for old black and white movies and photos disturbs me a bit. I'm starting to suspect that I might have been a strange gray color from head to toe in a previous life. I'm just guessing that I probably also uttered the words, "That guy's a gem, a real gem, I tell ya." while smoking a cigarette with a long plastic filter and wearing a nice hat that matched my skirt and heels. "Butcha are in that chair, Blanch ya are!" LOL.
skidrowgirl, Your love for black and white movies could be because you mentally know most of the cast, including the extras are more than likely dead or at deaths door and pose no threat Hotwater
