    Fluff this pillow,

    And tuck these sheets;

    Bring my cuddly bear.

    Now kiss my cheek,

    And hold me close;

    Run fingers through my hair.

    This night was long;

    My mind is dark;

    Caressed by a nightmare.

    It left me pale,

    It left me sick;

    Whimp’ring in despair.

    But then you came

    And brought with you,

    Devotion, love, and care.

    So now I’m still,

    For you must be,

    The answer to my prayer.

    So stay with me,

    And never leave

    That peaceful rocking chair.

    For when you’re ill,

    And tears distil,

    I’ll return your welfare.

    Fluff your pillow;

    I’ll tuck your sheets;

    Bring your cozy bear.

    I’ll kiss your cheek,

    And hold you close;

    Run fingers through your hair.
