Hey, all you tie-dye lovers! I am a member of a tie-dye forum, and also an on-line tie-dye vendor at www.fiber-arts.com/mall. Come check us out! Everything from t-shirts to tapestries! Hope to see you there... Judy

I'd really lik eto see you CONTRIBUTE input to the site, and not simply post your site, tiedyejudy. www.angelfire.com/biz/TieDyePaul
Sorry to offend. My tie-dye is my contribution. But time permitting, I plan to spend more time here and get to know you all, so chances are... there will be more to come! Judy
Just an update to my post from last summer... the mall closed, sadly, a couple of months after it opened. Michael, the administrator, couldn't keep it afloat financially, so we scattered to the winds. Two new forums surfaced at the beginning of this year... not malls, per se, but forums specifically for tie-dyers or fiber artists. If you would like more info, PM me and I will be glad to pass on the forum addresses. Judy
what value do you get out of an online mall? Your own site had plenty (and I found that malls were basically crap producers or people with not much to offer in volume.). We special order only, so malls were never much of an option. I did try to start a fiber art gallery, but it got overrun by crafter level vendors so I yanked it after six months.
What I got out of the on-line mall at that time was a format to upload my items to. I had tried previously to convert my website into an on-line store, but hadn't been too successful up until then. Michael provided the format. I actually had a couple of sales thru the mall before it shut down. After that, I buckled down and made myself create my storefront. For me, it's more for the advertising than sales... I have had more special orders from my website than direct sales. But it's there for anyone who wants to buy on-line... Judy
