How can I make a quick pair of wings??

Anyone know?? I'm going to a festy this weekend, Cavestock, and well, I cant find my damn wings!! Anyone know how to conjure up a quick pair? I'm guessing coat hangar and that meshy stuff? I don't really know... help!

 

try making some out of those hangers that are covered in cloth, like from victoria's secret. as for the actual wing part, try making it out of fake fur, it kind of looks like feathers.

 

Opaque tights work too....dollar stores sometimes have children's tights in a variety of colors.

 

Yep, cheap wire hangers and some sheer, stretchy fabric...oh and duct tape. I made some great wings last halloween using those items, and I still have them (and plan to for years to come). If I remember correctly I used two unstretched wire hangers for each wing.

Not as nice but painted, cut-out cardboard could work as well. It would at least be lightweight.

And as a last resort--check out the halloween costume section OR the little girls dress-up section (in the toy section) at a nearby store. I've seen some really sweet little wings in that section of my local target before.
