I recently acquired some miprocin fumarate. When diluted in distilled water it instantly turned green and within 48 hours was down to 5% its original potency. Has anyone had this or any other chemical break down and react this fast in water?

miprocin is 4-ho-mipt by the way. any similar reactions to any 4th position hydroxide ester of a tryptamine?

4-HO tryptamines tend to be quite hygroscopic, turning into a viscous liquid if left in the open. Not sure if this has anything to with what happened to your miprocin. Im pretty sure the fumarate is more stable than the HCL salt

If you'd read the available information beforehand, spectre, you could have saved yourself the heartache and dollars. :( Trypts shouldn't be dissolved in liquid; it's the surest way to ruin them. The 'procins are particularly delicate in this regard. Best storage practice for these is to keep 'em airtight, sealed, cold, and dry. Sorry to hear about your loss.
