Suppose I announce that I am the second coming of christ and a few hundred people believe me - then a few thousand, and I am so convincing that millions follow me until the only people I havent convinced are the religious leaders who are holding back judgement.
What is the likely proof they would require?
Is there any question or deed that I could not wriggle out of answering or performing?

if you've somehow convinced millions of people, why worry about the religious leaders?

I would need to see two forms of ID and a letter of reference from god.

    I would say:

100% accuracy with predictive prophecy. Some of which was very specific. The more unbelievable, the better. And nothing self fulfilling, either.

Miracles beyond "back pain." Regrow limbs, and eyes and ears. Speak and cure incurable diseases. Shoot, speak and eliminate all incurable diseases simultaneously across the entire planet (even if they didn't hear you). Verifiable and really tough to fake.

At the "second coming" (loaded word) Christ will return in his resurrected body. As such, being immune to harm and death would be pretty convincing. Let people unload a .50 cal in your face, drink deadly poison and take a walk through serin gas. Do this in public places. Without a stage.

But the most convincing would be total control of the physical realm and supernatural realm. Destroy all weapons of war. Eliminate world hunger. Bring all those who have died needlessly back to life, completely restored in mind, body and spirit. Across the globe. Simultaneously.

Oh yeah... you might have a hard time refusing to complete the tasks that Christ specifically promised upon his second advent. Namely judging the world and consigning people to heaven or hell. If you refuse or attempt to wiggle out of it, then you have a problem because Christ specifically said that he *would* do these things upon his second advent.

Of course you'd have to be shot immediately.
