Saw the show via satellite just like the night be4...So what did u all think of the final show???? I mean was it what u all expected!!!??? "Velvet Sea," was my fav. part. I was sobbing b/c it had double meaning. Not only was this emotional for a song at a phish concert, but when my bf was away for a month this summer I listened to this song like every night be4 bed. It helped me cope with missing him so much! Also Wilson was also a good one to hear...but of course I could name a few that I wished they played though................

    I"LL MISS U PHISH!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING...

Yea "Wading" was one of my favorites, I shed a tear when Page started crying and because I too have an emotional attachment to that song. Piper was my other favorite because they were on fire through the whole song! They retired that one well.

Yep, saw it in the theather. Turned down a free ticket to be there. Maybe I regret it, maybe not. Anyway, it definately wasn't the best show I've ever seen, but it had its moments. The Curtain was a perfect last song. Seeing them all get emotional after Velvet Sea was kinda special. Velvet Sea brought back awsome memories of Big Cyprus. Slave was a very nice touch. I had to sneak into the sold out theather so I missed everthing before Chalkdust. Could have done without the Piper, Seven Below, and Trey waving around his guitar inthe air doing that feedback crap. My personal highlight was dancing my ass off to Wilson while I was in King of Prussia while Trey sang, well you know how the lyrics go. How wild is that. Once in a lifetime man. The end of an era I guess. Though, as long as they are all still alive there will always be a chance for a reunion. Hopefully Trey sobers up first. He looked like total shit, rubbing his nose every couple of seconds.,

My boyfriend and I got to the dead stopped traffic at 11 Thursday AM, and finally got in to set up our tent at 11 PM.
Friday when they weren't letting any more cars in we were worried that our friends would not make it, but they hopped out of thier cars like most dedicated Phish phans and walked about 6 miles.
The mud on Saturday was INSANE! I lost a pair of shoes like a lot of other people. It was easier to walk in barefoot anyways, otherwise your feet weighed 10 pounds. I actually made my way all the way to the front, and got to see when Trey and Mike got closer to the crowd. They weren't even 10 ft. away from me! Trey seemed fucked up though...he was definately on something. And he was NOT going to end Harry Hood unless he got to see some titty. Which he did, he convinced some girl to flash him.
Sunday was much better though, they put down a lot of mulch for us, and the ground had dried up a lot.
You could definately tell that Trey was nervous, both nights. He missed a lot of chords, fucked up quite a bit. Mike and Fishman totally held it together though. When Page started singing Wading in the Velvet Sea and couldn't sing cause he started crying I just started bawling it, it was so sad. I can't believe its over. I hope they are all saying right now "Fuck, what have we done?"

I think so too. While this wasn't the best phish show I've ever seen, it was definitely very emotional, and there were points where I thought that all the emotion and the thought of not playing together again gave them a sort of renewed energy and creativity in some of their jams, particularly on sunday afternoon. All in all, I wouldn't have missed the opportunity to bid them pharewell for anything, despite the 40 hours sitting in traffic and the crazy mud. It's just all part of the experience.
