A few weeks ago me and my 4 friends get bored. We notice there is a Afroman concert in 3 hours about 20 minutes away. We all agree to go and get ready. My first friend goes and gets a case and like 5 blunt wraps. The others go home to get there stashes. We all meet back up at a chill park nearby and start bonging beers. We finish the case roll up all our weed (about a half ounce of high mids) and get ready to drive downtown. We get there like 5 minutes before afroman gets on and we blaze 2 blunts in the car. We still have like 2 more blunts and a few joints. He gets on stage and starts chanting "blaze it up" over and over while he throws MJ necklaces and hats. Of course we light up trying to be discreet. About 40 seconds into the first song someone grabs my shoulder and turns me around. Turns out to be security in plain clothes. They grab the joint im smoking and tell me and 1 of my friends we have to leave. We try to beg with them so we can stay, but they brought up the point we weren't getting arrested and to beat it. So now me and my friend that got kicked out are drunk and high stuck in downtown cleveland till the concert is over. We still have like 3 joints though. We decide on walking around town and smoking the joints in some really risky spots. smoke 1 at jacobs field, the other outside the courthouse, and another while walking through terminal tower. Wow...just noticed that is pretty long sorry. but overall IM PISSED i only saw 40 seconds of afroman. and remeber when at concerts to watch ur back!
i have been to plenty of rap concerts and smoked at a few, and i have never heard of anyone getting kicked out for smoking and if its afroman they should be expecting that. That really sucks but at least you got the chance to smoke next to a courthouse that ironic. I likes.
since they were dressed in plain clothes they were probably just some guys that wanted your joints so the "confenscated" them hahahaha sorry for making fun of you that just makes more sence to me. the stories ive heard of people getting caught at concerts is when the police come and security gaurds usually dont care but i dont know
They definately worked there. Had a bouncer shirt on under the plain clothes. He pulled it up since we were giving him a little shit.
^^^yeah i've thought about making a bouncer shirt and confiscate people's joints before. never tried it though. and did the boncers go with you to the exit? why didn't you just try to shake them off in the crowd?
That sucks man... the concert was probably at Peabody's. Is that right, jerry? The bouncer/security dudes there are all dicks. My friend got kicked out in almost the exact same way at a Slightly Stoopid concert over the winter. If you have joints and you aren't really tall and passing them around then you should be fine there. The House of Blues in Cleveland is worse. They have the balcony that borders the pit and the security will chill up there and can see anything going on.. you kinda have to smoke all the way in the back by the soundboard. Best place to see a show is the Grog Shop. Very chill there. -Mike
Yep, it was at peabody's, and yes the bouncers walked me to the exit and then cut my wristband. And wow....I didn't know that about house of blues. I went to a pink floyd tribute there and smoked tons. Guess I got lucky that time.

I been going to concerts since early 80s and as long as you wait till the lights go down they let it all go. Its funny as soon as lights go off they all cheer out loud and then you get hit by a wall of weed smoke.First contact high was 16 yrs old at ACDC show I have lived 20 years in NYC and 15 in San Francisco and both have very much the same rules. Not before or after only when show is on and as long as the place is contained and safe they let it go. Just be glad no large amounts were taken off you weed.Good deal going to it with a few rolled ones, still a good call.
