I'd say burning to death would be worse. Granted it's relatively quick, but i assume it's also relatively excruciating, horrifying and rather smelly. If you were being eaten alive it would only be a matter of time before you lost conciousness from the pain or from blood loss. Not to mention you're not wasting your life

I've been burnt, very badly, and couldn't imagine it being a quick painless way to die..... I'd pick being eaten alive. at least I could hope that the quick loss of blood would make me pass out
