ok ihave a 4 foot female.. shw was quite poorly when i got her and i nursed her back to health.. then i overdid it with the nuits and burnt her but quickly fixed the problem by giving nuits once/twice every forthnight and its only quater strenght to recomended dosage. the weather where i live has bin brill the last few weeks and she was sitting in my window lappin up the sun.. now its hit autumn/fall i dont want her to bud.. wanna keep her in veggie so i can clone her at a future date.. i put her under a 250 metal halied full spectrum growing lamp, theres good ventalation and its a warm area.. not too warm.. giving here 18/6 and the light is now about 2/3 foot above her because she developed white spots.. not yellow but white.. i thought the light was too bright on her and lifted it up as much as it could go.. shes still developing them and im concerned its a lack of cloraphyl production.. first off it started on the middle of the plant not the top which i guess eliminates the chances of it being the lamp but id rather be safe than sorry.. i also think she might have entered her flowering stage and now its stressed due to the change in light. the stems/stalks are all changing to a deep purple colour and she smells nice and sweet.. its just the spots that have me worried. any help at all would be apprecheated. thanks in advance. kas.
White spots on the leaves can be caused by spider mites. Do you see and fine webs? As plants age it often becomes more of a problem. Schultz has a fungicide spray found locally that has need oil in it. It also works on mites if used every two weeks. Not sure if that is the problem. It could be mold and if so there is a spray for that too if you can find it. Schultz makes them both and if you check local growing departments you will find them. BOG
nope theres no webs.. theres no mites etc that i can see under the leaves... checkd all them... painstakingly! turns out my she is a he.... shitehawk! or at least it looks like male flowers forming.. i hope not.. waste of time and effort.
