I went to the bonfire for homecoming.

Blech. I feel all...dirty.
But I had fun...
Study circled on Grendel.
Chased Caitlin around the fire for a rubber ball.
Talked politics.
Danced to the Cranberries.
And the Spice Girls.
And Tom Petty.
Got pushed over for the first time.
In a fake fight.
Saw how fun you can have without booze.
Realized how irritating some people are.
Realized how cool other people can be,
when they let their guard down.

This guy I know, let's call him Fortunato...

He lived in California for this year and just came back and bought a farmhouse after getting a job (one that is very high if you compare it to the average $53,000 a year around here). They had a 3 bedroom place for $950 a month. He got busted on the way back to Virginia during a stop in Illinois with a four foot bongs, bowls, a hookah, vaporizer, etc. and has to pay $50 a month for... a decade or something.

Insane. He's throwing an... eating party... This weekend. He invited me. He used to ride my bus when I was in Elementary school.

 

I don't even know if that was poetry or not.

And I also don't attend school functions. Except when they have video dances... In which case I put on a tutu and go and dance my ass off.

A bonfire, of all things.

 

I want to see this dance in the tutu hahhaha

i remember one time, at east carteret

one of the speech and debate guys was having a "club meeting" or whatever, and his dead had just cut down a lot of shit, so they were going to have a huge bonfire

well this kid is the typical superduper high school student, well....the other not so super duper h.s. kids (we'll call them "rebellious") that were also in speech and debate decided to take down every flyer the original kid put up, and replaced them with "KEGGER AT BILLY A'S"

My tutu is turquoise and made of cotton and some kind of soft tulle.
And... It is excellent for spinning.

At the last dance I went to, kids were coming up to me and being all "oh.. uh.. hey I like how you dance. How the hell are you.. doing that? "
