Anybody try them, I think im going to and see what happens. Ive been hearing alot of good about netflix. For those of you who may not know, it's a way to rent videos through the mail. You pay a flat rate, no overdue charges, have over 65,000 different movies to choose from. Save money on gas by not having to go to the video rental store and our rental stores around here dont have much too choose from. Just wondered if anybody has had experience with them?
i thought about it. it seems like a great idea. maybe i'll do it someday. i dont' rent movies much, so i'd have to start doing that.
I have NetFlix. It's much cheaper than renting movies when you want to watch them. You make up a list of all of the movies you want to see and they are mailed, three at a time, in the order you have listed them. YOu can keep the movies for as long as you want and if you have a DVD burner, you can make copies; that's what we do. It's definitely worth the price.
dude DVD-R/W drives are cheap!!!!!! http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010100005+1036506653&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=5
they are the cheapest, but they ream on shipping. I find what I want there and then go to www.pricegrabber.com and search what I find for the best deal after shipping.
Cool--- lots of online places play the low price game and get more than the difference back under the "shipping and handling" line item. Thanks for the heads up.
Throtling occurs only after you've been a member with their service for so long...its apparently quite the issue with the hardcore renters. you may want to check out greencine if you live in Cal and are a fan of indy/anime flicks
I heart netflix....a great way to see my favourite cable shows without buying cable! and no commercials!
Buy much from them - outstanding Folk when it comes to info/ RMAs... http://directron.com/cd---storage-dvd-drives.html
Ive heard they are improving. They are adding more warehouses to keep up with demand and improve shipping time. Ive decided to join them the 1st of the month when i get paid.:sunglasse
I was a member for maybe 4 or 5 months, liked the selction, it was cool, but then i got out of the mood and wasn't watching any movies or TV and cancelled it, was a good deal though, I had the one where you could get 3 at a time for maybe 18 a month or so...i had the 1 at a time for a while, but that didn't seem to be enough, watch one movie, then wait 3 days to get the next
Thats the plan Im going for is the three to a time, that sounds about right to me. I keep mine for awhile after i rent them too. I would probably keep mine for a week or a little longer to watch them a few times before sending them back.
