WHat should I get my friend for her b-day?

She's not that girly and her boyfriend gets her everything she wants and needs so it's hard. She and I have only been friends for about 3 months and a group of us are going to Big Bear for her bday for an overnight road trip and her parents are picking up the tab so...I wanna get her something that lets her know I am going because I want to be closer friends with her not that I just want a free trip.
I just went to nordies to pick up something I ordered and I looked around and didn't find anything. I was going to get her earings but I couldn't find any that are her style. Please help!

She's very practical, 24 and I don't like to give gift certificates,unless they are ones to spas but I don't know her well enough to give her a gift that expensive (ie-I don't want to get her something nicer than her closer friends do). What should I get her?

I always like chocolate and wine on my b day too. do you like the earings? I love mine and they are comfy to wear (I am picky) so I am hoping she' really liked them and wasn't giving me a false compliment.

why not go halfsies with another friend who knows her a bit better? get one big gift btwn the two of you instead of being stuck by yourself.

 

I like getting earrings if they're the kind I'll wear. Fortunately most of my friends and my mom knows what kinds I wear, rawr. Earrings are nice because you can find super cute ones for not much money, which is nice. I feel kinda bad if friends spend a ton of money on me

 

They're forty, which I think is a good amount. That's around how much my not talk to everyday friends spent on my bday and I on theirs. She is also a site-supervisor and makes about 15k less than me a year so I don't want to insult her but she knows how much I make so I son't want her to think I'm cheap either...and of course I am getting her irises because her name is Iris (I am sure I will be the only one with this original idea! d:

 

if she's freaky and her boyfriend don't mind get her one of those vibrating gloves. i use that on chicks and after its like swimming in the atlantic ocean. you might to get one for yourself too. or the panties with the vibrating thing over the ooh aah. if not get her a bottle of alchy that always works 4 me and my sahas.

I trained in Big Bear for a day and the altitude is death. nice place though. would be better if i could swim.
