I was just wondering if anyone else has been fighting sleep and are like reading a post or making a reply and the next thing you know you wake up and several hours have gone by and you have been sleeping. Just a thought that came into my mind.

I guess the problem with me and actually "getting ready for bed' is that I do not like to sleep cause M Illness I have all day and then at night unless I am really sleep deprived (awake over 24 hours) I have horrible night terrors and panic attacks while sleeping, so I fight the sleep & fall asleep wherever I am at and just pass out. It is unpleasant to be full of anxiety all the time even during sleep. Peace LS

Night terrors and panic attacks suck. I know first hand.

Wow, God... I can NEVER breathe through my nose because of sinus issues. It's so frustrating like I cant even explain. Im considering surgery. I wonder sometimes if my problems with that have anything to do with the anxiety and panic attacks I have had.

Dear God, (sounds like praying or something) :p I was wondering if you had ever tried to sleep in a reclining chair? I am not able to sleep in a bed due to health problems and have bad sinisitis and am also unable to breath through my nose, only found that sleeping with my upper torso at about a 45 - 90 degree angle I am able to breath easier. I know that when I sleep through my mouth I get that really bad film inside my mouth and some nasty spots that feel like circles of slime that take awhile to rid my inside of my mouth of.

I am thinking of what LStripe said about surgery would that help for you? I know my case worker had sleep apnea and they removed his adnoids and tonsils or something and he is better now. Peace L.S'vr

Hmmm the avoiding dairy idea is an interesting one. I know a lot of people are allergic to dairy that don't even know it but I didnt know that nasal/sinus/allergy type of problems could be related to that and I will defiantly have to look into that.

The one thing that does help me is that I use a neti. Do you know what that is?

Yeah, I do find those things about people and it's very annoying. I am often tired and worn out because of my sinus issues and also cramps (practically bed ridden for three days of the month) and people that have never dealt with one issue or the other typically like to judge or think you are exagerrating... etc.... Oh well.... :)

Oh and what was the surgery for when you were younger?
