my place is infested with cockroaches, bees, and rats. WTF!!!!!!!!!! im in the middle of freaking boaca raton and i have to deal with this bullshit. im paying well over 2 grand to live in this dump and the landlord is too cheap to take care of the problem. just last week our neighbor killed seven YES seven rats in oONE day. i got used to the cockroaches they are not as bad as they used to be but the rats and the bees is another thing. when we first moved in there were no rats just bees that would come and go now they have a nest right in our storage closet outside and they just swarm all over in the backyard. the rats i havent seen but i know they are out there cuz there is rat poop all over. the cockroaches used to be pretty bad when we first moved in i mean these suckers were about 4 inches big they would be all over the place you look to your left theres one right theres another you take a step watch out you'll step on one. but now after we bombed the house several times there are a couple but thats ok. OH also we have those lil geckos or lizards come in and out of the house and i am fine with that i actually dont mind cuz they will eat the cockroaches (if they arent too big) and aiden absolutely loves the lizards. every morning he goes right to the spot where he last saw one and wait until he sees it or until i take him outside to find one.

That is horrible! Is there anyway that you could report the landlord to the real estate board people or apartment agency or anything? Cockroaches are my #1 bug phobia, bad. I cant even imagine 4inch roaches. I hope you can get rid of the Rats and the Bees as well.

I had a sleeping room infested with cr's and finally got these 'bait stations' and that got rid of all them cause they take the 'bait' back to the nest and they all eat off it and die. I also heard to place them every 10-feet from where u see each roach cause they dont travel more than 10-feet from the nest.

Good luck in being rid and free of those awful pests. Peace and Best Wishes LS

My house is full of those teeny tiny bugs that resemble roaches.
We have bombed this place already and used the Combat disk things but they keep returning. It's like every single one that comes into the house is pregnant with four thousand babies or something.
They are all over the kitchen and it is embarrassing. I'm guessing these things are about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. They are light brown in color and resemble roaches. They are coming from a pasture behind my house where the grass is tall.
I occasionally get the big woods roaches, but my house seems to be infested with these tiny bugs. I'm not really scared of them, bugs don't scare me too bad, but the sons a' bitches are hard as hell to get rid of.
They're harmless, as far as I know, but I don't want to have company over because of them.

yeah we have those ones too skidrow man the only way to get rid of them is to tent the whole damn place. i know what you mean about not having company over. the rats so far havent come over to our area of the yard bu tthe bees are a big problem. when my son has a playdate we cant have it at our house cuz his lil girlfriend may or may not be allergic and i dont want to find out by havine her over here then get stung. no way in hell will i let that happen. the cokroaches is embarassing when my hubby has some one very important over and a roach or two scurry on by his foot and because of that he then thinks very low of us and therefore wont help or invest in the business.

This sounds crazy, I know, but I get so mad at the bastards for coming in my house that I grab 'em when they scurry across the counter.
I'm too sensitive to kill them, but I scoop one up in my hand and I'm like, "Yeah, uh huh, I got your ass...and if I was anybody else, I'd kill your little behind. But, I'm going to put you back outside, you little house invader."
My four year old niece comes over a lot, so a lot of it is to humor her.
Most people won't touch them, but I ain't scared of 'em.

    FallenFairy,

You should be commended for having the will and determination to live in such abject conditions. I would have fled the scene a long time ago.

i would rather cenitpedes than rats and bees. I dont know if i ever posted this but a while back before we bombed the house i woke up at like 4 am to a fricking cockroach on my face. half awake i wake up my hubby and we both sat up i told him something was on my back and he said im imagining things and i said no really just check and he turned his lil flashlight on and saw a 3 inch roach on my back. he flicked it off me and picked it up and threw it outside. he said to me" you know in some cultures people actually beleive that roaches are humans turned into this bug. maybe this one was trying to communicate with you." yeah right maybe it was trying to lay eggs in my mouth. after that i brushed my teeth and rinsed my mouth out atleast ten times. EWWWWWW

We have huge daddylonglegs in the basement...which makes me wonder what they are eating to get that big...

We've also had rats and we currently have mice. That's what happens when you live in a 100 year old house. Before we had a cat they would run around the house when we weren't home. Damn things would dig tampons out of the garbage and eat them....ew.
