so last night, the only way i could describe my dream would be to not call it a dream at all what i would refer to my dream last night would be... an acid trip many things make this weird, but the top reason would be i've never done acid well, i must say, this dream was pretty lucid and in this dream, my buddy wayne gave me however many acid tabs (tabs is the right term correct? yeah, see, never done acid) anyhow, i took them. what makes it lucid was the fact that (i suppose) right after i had fallen asleep i believed i hadn't actually been asleep as far as i knew, i had never laid down to go to sleep i clearly remember thinking "i probably shouldn't take this now, as i have to go to sleep" makes sense, obviously but i took them anyways next thing i know i started trippin' the fuck out in my dream, inside my head now, i did do shrooms this past saturday, and i remember the trip the trip in my dream was nothing like that (although maybe it accounts for the dream, as in, why i had it) anyways, like i said, trippin' the fuck out in my apartment very lucid, apartment was most definitely ours, we were all here (all my roommates and i) in fact, we just got kittens yesterday, JUST yesterday, and they were also present in the dream apartment was designed exactly the same, basically, it was as real as possible once again, like i said, trippin' the fuck out, goin' bonkers colors are doin' things i've never seen colors do, they were coming after me they were spinning around me like a tornado, man, i can't even describe it next thing i know there's a donkey in our living room obviously i know the donkey is there because of the acid*, but i believed in its existence (*well, because of the dream, but in the dream cause of the acid) well this donkey starts goin' berserk kind of and tries to knock down my door to my bedroom and it starts freakin' me out and i start having a bad trip (i'm pretty sure this would happen in real life as well if a donkey started to attack me) anyways, the dream is so lucid and the trip gets so bad i actually wake up from the dream i didn't wake up frightened, i wasn't crying, i wasn't sweating i just thought back on it and kind of went "wow, that was fucked"
You call this a lucid dream, but I thought a lucid dream was one where you knew you were dreaming, which appears to be the exact opposite of what you experienced?
yeah once i realise i am dreaming i can only push the dream for about another 30 seconds. I find it very fun, because you can do whatever you want.
