Anyone check out Children of Nuggets? It's a compilation of psychedelic/garage/new wave stuff from 76-96. Its pretty much the best 60 or so bucks I've spent on music, which is saying alot.
I ve read a review about this new nuggets version... it)s all good reviews ... and it interessed me even if the only bad side it s that in some tracks the drums or the production sound 2 synthetic... but this detail apart ...its probably an essential buy... i will by this soon... but I never buy the original Nuggets bout the British or the American Psychedelia... so this came 1st
I've been wanting to hear this, but I mean, it's $60... I don't want to buy it without knowing that it's good. I have Nuggets I & II, and I like them, and hearing a bunch of artists who were influenced by bands like the 13th Floor Elevators, the Seeds, and the Sonics sounds pretty damn cool. I guess I'll just have to go for it one of these days.
hey dear lucifer :H I ve read 2 reviews of it in 2 prof magazine. 2 be honnest they are rarely wrong... but well me too i want to hear before i buy it... maybe on the net you can find places to hear 30 sec. every song... Hey i just think right know this nuggets is about the years 79 to the nineties... Why they dont do a nuggets about the whole 70s !!! You can do the Withest cream in the world with 70psychstuff...
