well, that is one great thing we need to learn: "NO"
because, life its all about peer pressure even among hippies and drop outs....
If we DARE to be individals, then we have conquered FEAR and we can get on a new level, makin things happen for real, for the environment- we dont need to be this or that or have this or that, we just do want we fucking want; but for that, you need to say FUCK OFF to those stopping you, once you've done that, you are a bit more free

NO to buying cool stuff cool cars cool drugs cool clothes. NO to "NEED" to be hip, with nice jeans or sweater or boots or sneakers or motorbikes or superstupid gadgets or super this or that. we are so esily "impressed" by this or that or a good paid job or being back stage or smoking a joint with this or that person or fucking this or that person, or even "knowing" this or that person.
    it has become a sickness....

    Well...

I am not a rich man and its very easy to say NO!

    I own a 1993 Car...
    I dont do drugs...
The current fashion craze I could care less about...
I have two kids and a wife to support...

So NO is definately in my vocabulary :D

It's in the vocabulary of us poor college students as well... Most of my clothes, especially my jeans, have been patched and re-patched by myself multiple times... My car is a 1989, and it gets great gas mileage, though most of the time I walk 'round the city to get to where I need to go... It's pretty easy to say no to most stuff I don't need.

Don't you love it when new people ask you what you do? They don't ask you who you are or what you believe in, they want to know how much you make. I just shine them on. I used hate the "what's your sign?" line, but that's got to be better than "what do you do?" They are actually asking "how much do you make? or "what do you own? or "who do you supervise?"

It just feeds into the reality show mentality, where individuals give others the right to vote them out. Judge me by my sense of humor, my humanity, my compassion.
