I tried explaining them to alex714.... but cultural differences couldn't explain it. Can someone explain to her a trapper keeper.

its kinda like a 3-ring binder, but does not have metal rings. there plastic, so you can just slide things in and out. has folders and such to store school work. and is kept close by velcro

And the fancier ones were kept closed by zippers. I still have most of the old ones from school...I had a Winnie the Pooh one...when I was in 9th grade. lol And one with velcro letters that attached to the front, to make it say whatever I wanted it to. And one with a mirror inside of it...haha...what a cool invention. A big bulky notebook...
