LAFAYETTE, La. — Country music star Willie Nelson and four others were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of narcotic mushrooms and marijuana after the tour bus they were on was stopped Monday morning on Interstate 10 in Louisiana, state police said. "When the door was opened and the trooper began to speak to the driver, he smelled the strong odor of marijuana," the news release said. A search of the bus produced 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana and 2/10 of a pound of narcotic mushrooms

If me or you got busted along with 3 other friends for same shitwe all be doing some serious time even in California. Stars get off all the time. I hope it atleast somehow this can help the cause in some atleast small way, otherwise just another star living by own rules. They reported that the reason he didn't go to jail was because their jail was full and reached the limit. They say he could get up to 6 months or just get off with probation.
not really a stupid excuse at all. There are huge problems with the over crowding of American jails. So yes too full is a common reason people aren't put up in jail especially high profile people for petty offenses. Learn before you speak.
since when are shrooms narcotic? people need to get it straight that narcotic does not mean psychoactive.
