Er, yeah they can. Just like marijuana can. If not treated with the proper respect or some people can naturally have a bad reaction. I know people forever fucked up from taking too much acid. Good friends of mine sectioned and in mental hospital for the last 5 years+ from too much weed and acid. Never be complacent with these things cos thats when they'll fuck you in the ass...
edit: Weed, like any substance, isn't harmless and especially now with bud/skunkweed whatever you want to call it, it is fucking more people in the head. They don't actually know the long term effects of smoking skunk because it hasn't been around long enough. I smoke heavily and am ok but it can quite easily make you a paranoid schizo.
