Do jobs in Canada test for marijuana? A friend I know in Pharmacy school was thinking about moving up there and wondering if they would be tested.
depends on the job... its a pretty vague question. generally jobs dont, but you cant be sure of just any job.
Well they would be a pharmacist, so a drug test would be understandable. Is marijuana usually tested for in the standard drug test used for employment in canada?
YES! they will probaby test for: Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash) Cocaine & crack Amphetamines (meth, speed) Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine, morphine) PCP
It's not usually required, but depends on the job. The only example I can think of is in the oil industry...But whatever just drink alot alot alot of straight cranberry or pomagranite juice for a few weeks and it usually covers it up really well...
Yes, we get tested up here for all sorts of jobs. My hubby failed his pee test for a job as a janitor in a mine. He used the drinks and he still failed.
Maybe they should test the food we buy at the grocery . You know the feed the cattle and chiken all kinds of drugs this days. "they want this things to grow fast in 2 weeks"
before becoming self-employed i worked at a Resturant chain, Auto parts store, and in construction and i was never once even asked in an interview if i used drugs or alchohol
I've never heard of anyone in my life being drug tested up here.... I've worked in so many different fields, including pharmacuitical companies (IT work mostly), and have never met anyone who has been tested...
