I think what generally tends to happen is when one of the "old" regulars comes in, they tend to post more of what they really think rather than just go with the flow. When you are not here all the time you do not tend to get emotionally involved with many. Attachments tend to be with those that you posted with more before.

Many people do not wish to hear what someone really thinks, they would rather have the band wagon.

What really amazes me is that many people seem to just take any comment made way too personally.........odd given that many times it is made in relation to a post that they have put on that is personal.. Go figure.

Wonder if they ever think that the person on the other end is really having a good chuckle rather than offended by their responses back.

Yes, but I'm not talking about someone posting their opinions.
Opinions I can deal with, regardless of whether or not they resemble my own. I'm talking about posters who post strictly for shock value, by making mention of molesting a child or abusing animals, etc.
I'm talking about when someone like me is posting just standard chit chat, minding my own business, and someone comes on and posts about how they'd like to hold me down and make me "enjoy their dick."
Totally irrelavent to the post I made and just plain stupid.
I can take a joke as good as the rest of them. Goodness knows, I joke with people all the time. Thing is, when someone feels the need to bend over backwards to try and get a rise out of you, for no good reason at all, it's annoying somewhat.
It shows their ignorance and lack of maturity. Toilet humor is my favorite kind, I'm just a big kid like that, but when some smart ass comes on with the intention of trying to shock, and/or intimidate women with disgusting come ons and claims that you want them, it's just plain retarded.
I don't buy for one second that any man truly believes he is the shit.
It's all a front for their insecurity. People would like them a lot better if they'd just be themselves, than when they try to act like they believe they're the man and you want them. It's just nauseating.

 

I agree, insane jestor for instance did not share his opinions but made some lengthy attempts to merely spew some poorly spelled jibberish in order to irritate "the ugly" or "the poor" or the "unfuckable' .... just whatever he was ranting about. If he actually had the life experience to back up the crap he typed then it wouldnt be nearly so annoying but more insightful.

I jokingly told Jester he was full of hot air when he bragged about all the women he'd been with. His comeback involved him accusing me of being obese, mentioning something about large panties on someone's head, and talking about his dog doing things to me. Nice.
I could barely translate his supposed insults, as his grammar was so poorly constructed, I'd swear he was some 15 year old.
It's even worse when it's a person who claims to be 30 or older and spewing ignorant garbage.
