i have no idea where to post this.

technically this has to do with people and relationships so i suppose it can go here ???
anyways i have this problem with someone... not a friend really but an acquantance who i have always been nice and respectful to. i'm really not a big fan of drama but when someone is really rude to me, i'll be really rude right back.
anyway once day this person started insulting my photos and critisizing them and claiming none of my photos are original. if you know me, you know my biggest pet peeve is when someone insults my photos.
all the while she was insultingmy photos she had a photo of a band i took on her profile online. which in my opinion, is rather hypocritical.
now she is going around claiming i'm a cokehead and what not. sure, i used to use coke occasionally but i no longer do. i hardly even smoke pot anymore. i mostly stick to alcohol.
any idea what i should do? i don't feel its my place to apologize, i feel that its hers for being so dumb and immature but i just want this over with. i'd rather argue over something worthwhile.

Rise above it, and say nothing.

There will always be folks who have things to say, good or bad. Sometimes, even the bad things can lend to your fame, and of course those who know you will see the truth easily. People often think what they want to, so let them.

If you just want to be annoying to them, ask for a photo credit if they intend to use your work - and do it in a situation that makes it really uncomfortable for them to be asked, a roomful of influential people as bystanders can be really handy!

 

If I was you,I wouldn't worry aboutit. It's just childish drama, imho.
