Hilariously, this misconception is probably brought about by the notion that LSD is literally "acid" in the sense that it could burn through brain tissue.
yeah yesterday i got told "you idiot man, why do you think its acid! cos its burns you!! huh? when you put acid from science on your hand itd get burnt right well same with your brain!" wow. it took like 5 seconds to sink in how someone can be that dicked in the head to somehow think thats logical.. but yeah, i just asked him "if i put citric acid on my hand, is it going to burn through it??" fucking snap, foo.
I suppose it could also be derived from the fact that LSD bypasses the part of your brain that filters things from your perception, so I suppose in that way it widens the "hole" through which information reaches your brain... or something
Yup, and it leaves crystals in your spine, and if you do it 7 times you'll go insane. AND did you know you can get LSD from Foster's beer? Foster's, Australian for beer. But serriously, no, it doesn't leave holes in your brain.
Hm...well I am no expert on this subject but. LSD does not put holes in your brain, there is resesrch to suggest that other drugs can, such as PCP. The holes are called alneys lesions or something, I forget...go to erowid.com and research PCP to find out...but yes, this does not happen with LSD so thats one less thing to worry about Ps. Ate a shroom last night which I found out my back garden, IT WAS REAL! Very mild happy giggly feeling, my friend ate one also...just both had mildly warped time perception and couldntwork out how far away stuff is, fun fun, Im still happy =.)
