hey peace anychance of havin a postcard from britain forum man " ? like i personally do a lot of travellin as sure many off us do . we could put some info and pictures and our experiences up "just an idea i got after postcard from conwy thread ........just a thought ..........cheers

That's an interested idea, but I'm not sure if a new forum is needed to bring it in. We already have a UK Member Photos forum, which we really need more people posting in. Is it the name of the forum that puts you off making postcard threads in it? If it is, we could re-designate it to make it more obvious that it's for places, not just people. We could change the subtitle to something like 'Photos of UK people and places. A postcard from Britain.' That kinda thing. What do you think?

can ya not make a sub-forum within the photos forum?

 

A subforum within a subforum That might be a bit too confusing and, at the moment at least, not enough people post in Photos to make it worthwhile. But this place is really picking up and if, in a few months, a lot of new members come in and Photos gets busy enough, then we could have a seperate forum for this. We're planning a bit of a redesign of Hipforums UK over that period, to launch it perhaps as a distinct wing of Hipforums with its own launching pad, so that might be the time to bring something like that in....

editing the photos sub forum definitely seems like the most beneficial way to do this.

 

make sure my poetry thread doesn't get dissolved, that took me ages to add all my poems too:& sorry to be picky!

my friend lizzie is joining cambridge uni this year, but she's around at our freshers week coz she's dating one of the singers here at my college. Not a clue what she's gonna be studying there though.

just remembered coz you're a cambridgian you still there?

they have different colleges?? oo maybe trinity.....not sure. which one are you at?

 

Yeah, there are around 30 colleges, all part of the uni, but the college is the focus of your social life. I'm at Jesus....

 

OK, sub title's changed for UK Photos, what do you think? I'll also move your postcard threads into there to encourage more of them.
