My favorite time of year!!!! I know it's a while away yet what's everyone going to be? I usually know what I want to be by this time but I have no clue yet!! I was thinking of bride of frankinstine, and hubby as frankinstine, last year we did Chucky and bride of chucky!
I am going to dress in my Renaissance costume for Halloween. I get excited about this time of year also; usually around this time in September. The fall is my favorite time of year, and Halloween and Thanksgiving are just great fun for me. I like to decorate with gords and pumpkins. Carving out the pumpkin is fun fun fun. Gorey, bloody, and monster costumes are not my style anymore. Why I don't know as they fit perfectly with Halloween.
Pleeeez, I've been ready for halloween since last November! I am the queen of halloween. Dressing up in my witch costume again (surprise surprise, it's kitch but classic), annual pumkin carving party (11th), and boxes of halloween and haunted house decorations have already been pulled out of the attic and sorted. Absolutely cannot wait!
And I thought I was the queen of Halloween! We love Halloween at my house. I have lots of decorations and I always make costumes for my daughter. I usually don't have time to make costumes for the rest of us, though, so I usually go as a gypsy. This year, my daughter is going to be Holly Hobby. I started on her dress yesterday.
I love Halloween. Not sure what I'm going as yet. One of my younger friends wanted me to be "a dominatrix, so you can lead me around on a leash". Cute kid, but it's usually a bit chilly here to go trick-or-treating wearing fetish gear.
I don't know what I want to be. I've been so focused on my kids and what they're being that I haven't put much thought into what I might want to dress up as! But I LOVE Halloween! Love it!
I dont have my costume yet, because I am pregnant so I thought Id wait awhile to see what I can fit into at that time. I got my daughters costume though. Its this http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchDisplay?exp=n&catTree=N&langId=-1&storeId=10001&productId=317610&catalogId=10001&clearance=0&cmCat=productsearch&catalogId=10001
in pregnant and i think i am going to be a pea in a pod or a bun in the oven kinda cliche but i think it will be cute im not going to start making my costume untill the middle of october though cause i am entering my 3rd trimester and theres no telling how fast i will grow
I'm sewing a care bear costume for my pregnant friend; it will consist of a funfur skirt and hooded halter top with ears and we'll paint a care bear symbol on her belly. My daughter wants to be a pirate this year, and I'm thinking that hubby and I should be pirates too.
ok, I'm going to whore out one of my wares.... Speaking of Halloween, I'm selling 2 Martha Stewart Halloween magazines that I've had in my stash for a while, at http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110037549317&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MESE:IT&rd=1 ... One issue is from 2000, other from 2004. Obviously, a whole slew of good costumes, carving tips, and recipes (most of which I've tried.) Just thought I'd mention, in case it helps anyone.
I am excited, I havent lived where trick or treaters were present for almost 8 years. I just hope to god I dont have to work that night, I dont plan on wearing a costume, but I soooooo wanna hand out candy.......
I think it would be fun for me and my boyfriend to go as a pilot and flight attendant. They should be pretty easy costumes to come up with as well.
I'm going as Edward Scissorhands! I got the costume all together- now I have to make the hands. Joy is me. I love Halloween so much. Its always been my favorite holiday- and always will be!!
