How should I store my hit of acid?

I'm picking up a hit of acid soon, in blotter paper form, but I won't be able to use it for some time after I get it. I'm still picking it up because it doesn't become available very often, and this is some really potent LSD. Anyway my question is how do I store this acid properly? My friends say I should wrap it in tin foil and stash it away in a cool, dark place. Would that work? If not, any other suggestions?

 

foil in a glass jar in your closet should be fine
