probly not ya could probltyy try toforce em & maybe afterr a long time theywill..but once theyre tight theyre prettytight & will only grow together from root ..i have a few thick ones that are thick a ways &have splits or smaler dreads further down...

had 2 grow together just st the ends too & form a loop..but ended up eventualy pullin em apart cause kept gettin my arm caught inthe loop

in shoirtthey willonlygrow together where theres loose hairs that can loop & lock..almost always thats just near the roots

    fu manchu... lol :)

Yeah, if you give it tie they'll pretty uch grow together on their own. If you have a lot of loose hairs around there that're long enough you might be able to help them along with a tiny crochet hook - I've known cats who did that. Most of my big dreads are bigger toward the root, and parway down the length they split into 2+ dreads. I call the really outrageous ones "squidies". At the nape of my neck I have these two really big, flat ones that each grew from several smaller dreads just like that... :)

yea i always reminded myself of that villian fromthe old flash gordon series..lol the fumanchu thingy was like to..bottom of my ribs i guess..& had like 2..6 inch horns..on top...
was kinda cool but too crazy...
missed em like crazy the umm maybe 8 months b4 i started em again
glad i did..now.. but losin em at the time was traumatic
but the 1's i have now ..r just the way iwant em..because i didnt let em pull into a few dreads

    at thattime ihad like the pillow..the horns &maybe 12 other dreads..mostly thich & crazy..now got over 100 prolly..& just..are so much better..
some i wish were lil thicker..jus cause gettin em tangled round axels & caught inthings has pulled off 6-8 inches of a few...(2 whole beard dreads from sitten on emtoo)

aoso..think my thinner ones are somuch easier to washthenthe thicker 1's
