Moving to Amsterdam

Hi everyone!

Ok, here is the deal, I have been offered a job in Amsterdam.

And you guys know that usually I would already be there, but here is the thing:

The job pays quite a bit less than my current one, so what do you locals think, can a guy live with 2.000€ monthly pay in Amsterdam?

That makes it a real challenge. Apartment rental will must likely take over 50% of your take home pay if you can find a cheap place.

i'd definitely go for it.
my plans are to build money up in this country (taking regular holidays there), and eventually with all the money i save go and work over there, and buy a small place. the english pound is the highest form of currency so i'll be loaded when i go over there.
