I have been planning on purchasing a vaporizer this summer. While looking mostly at the whip type vapes and not being ably to justify spending more money for a volcano, I had decided that I was going to get a vapor bros vaporizor.
I saw the Fog King through another forum, their website, and a video on youtube. After sending the Fog King website some questions, decided that I would purchase it. I am extremely pleased with this unit.
Just letting anyone know who dosent want to shell out the money for a volcano and wants a convection vape.

Here is the link if you want to see it

It looks like it works on the same principle as a heat gun vap. But with a soldering gun I wouldn't be surprised if it easily went over the temperature neccessary for vaporizing, and it looks like it did, judging by all the smoke you exhaled.
If it works though, nothing to complain about.

It take a little while to master, while toggeling the gun on and off i feel you can get an optimal temp but it has never been hot enough to burn anything like my old vap. I totally feel like an addict using it, because the way it looks, but i really like the unit. I use much less herb, the taste is amazing, it is very stealth looking, and there is very little smell at all.

If anyone wants to see the website it is www.fogking.net

I would only really use it with one or two people and I would have to trust them with a hot heating element. Smoking is just easier with multiple users.

I bought this last week, waiting on it in the mail, im excited to try it. My friends have a volcano and they save up the brown leftover weed and make brownies. Use less weed and have a product leftover that can make some killer brownies, its a win win.

Ya once the weed goes brown its out of THC, and theres no point in baking it into brownies.... other then ruining your brownies.... My friends eat it though, say its just like popcorn (seriously they add some salt, and wham instant munchies)

But that vaporizer doesnt look very good, my homemade lightbulb looks like it works way better than that.
But maybe if you got the technique down it would work fine?

It is much better than a lightbulb vap or hotplate type. Your herb is heated by moving air. This is just like the vapor bro, volcano, and heatgun vaporizers. It isnt that hard to use. I prefer the act of smoking but enjoy everything else about this unit.

I usually just roll something huge with it. I dont let it get too brown in the bowl. I love joints so it works out. You can use it twice.

I dont think youve ever made brownies with 21 grams of volcano vaporizer leftovers.

The vaporizer is alright, for $50 you get what you pay for. I have got it hot enough to burn the weed when I first started so there is some toggleing that needs to be done so as to not burn it. Its worth it for me as I dont have a spare $700 kicking around for a volcano. This things small and simple and it'll get yer buzz on.

I recently bought a vaporizer and I've found that I'm coughing more than when I vaporize than when I smoke ( I know that say there is a difference between vaporizing and smoking but I don't think so) and you have to wait a few minutes before the bowl heats up to "vaporize" the bud. Not good if you want to get high now as a lot of us love to do. My impression of vaporizers going by this experience is that there is not much difference in "vaporizing" and smoking and the one good thing about it is that if it's the middle of the night and no stores are open and you're out of lighters and you have a vaporizer and don't mind waiting (what are your options at this point?) to get high, then yes,the vaporizer is useful. Other than that it is doubtful.

My friends who have a volcano saved up 21 grams of "leftovers" and cooked it in butter/oil for 45-60 minutes on low heat and made a bunch of butter/oil and baked that into borniwes. WHOA SKI DADDY they were potent. They keep their volcano at 7-8 setting. You certainly have to use more "leftovers" than you would normal fresh bud. But as long as you didnt burn the weed there should be some good stuff left over. Never hurts to try out. Enjoy!

If you are coughing try a lower temp and inhale slower that you would if smoking. I like this unit better than my hotplate one b/c there is only about a 5 second warmup time. The only thing you have to wait for is to pack the bowl

Unfortunately the vaporizer I have doesn't have a temp. control it only has one switch and that is an "on and off" switch.
