england had the feudal system for many years, it only diminished because the middle class (the merchants) overthrew the monarchy and its lords and ladies. now, the merchants have been made the lords and ladies and order is restored , england quietly slips back into the feudal system in all but name and vague promises to the population of some bright new future - in reality waiting down the bustop in the freezing cold travelling to a dead end job.

when you realise that something is horribly wrong you leave, its only when you leave and go somewhere better that your eyes are opened. for the average brit, this eureka moment never occurs. leaving isn't just a financial improvement its a personal improvement given the right country you can be educated and live some productive life, something as a serf in the uk i could never be given the opportunity to have. good luck to the brits i say. of course i see all the problems that britain caused itself happening here in australia, theres nothing i can do, it is is inevitable that australia will cause its own social collapse as britain did, thats another story.

getting back to the security services, you have to remember that to a large extent they are probably heavily indoctrinated. the top end of the pyramid of hierachy involves the children of the elite and the upper middle class. the middle section of the pyramid probably consists of the children of the middle class, people who see this career as a relatively well paying job. there would probably be the children of the lower classes at the lower rungs, these people would probably be used as the shock troops under the guidance of the upper rungs on various "missions" that would need to be performed. at the end of the day these people are usually expendable because whilst trained they can be used to be "fall guys" in life/death - read "the art of war" it talks about this under the section called "the fifth column". an example of these people would be professional torturers and hit squads.

the security services themselves are really just a means to an end for those who actually own society. when they become too powerful though they become a "praetorian guard", a political/militaristic powerbroker who dictates who will become "caesar". when the "wrong" person becomes elected (assuming that democracy still exists within the state) they are removed by hook or by crook (JFK/RFK are good examples). you have to remember that even rome under the rule of the "caesar" suffered from the problem of the praetorian guard, initially formed to protect "caesar" they became a powerful force that made and broke emperors, a classic example is claudius who was found hiding behind some curtains after caligula, by the guard and declared emperor!

maybe the feudal system / aristocracy is a natural system. a brief glance of history seems to suggest that humans gravitate to this base level. in many ways we live in a time that is witnessing this breakdown once again. the end of the republic, less freedom, more restriction, harsher penalties, a greater disparity between the classes. we pay lip service to the republic but know deep in our hearts we are heading for oligarchy/aristocracy. knowing this we continue using what little power we do have -at the election - by allowing the untrustworthy to suck at the teat of opportunity and unbridled power.

 

Skip you are right - you must have heard of the Echelon project, of course its ongoing, the problem is this with finding the ip addresses. I have a little ongoing hobby that is to research (just for personal satisfaction) the method by which it is possible for the Echelon project (run by the NSA(usa) and GCHQ(uk)) to be able to route, for example the entire telephone system of France through its base at Menwith Hill. I hope to find the echelon way that they do this I can guess right now but dont know
This is proven to have been done and caused a major diplomatic incident when discovered as the UK and USA were filtering all French internet, telephone and every other data type simultaneously and filtering in real time for industrial secrets. As to their IP address ranges - that is the big intercontinental carriers such as Level3 communications (transatlantic) etc they feed direct off the level 1 internet carriers. and I dont know much about telephone systems so that I dont know

Actually the communications specialists in the USA are the NSA and in the UK its GCHQ
so whatever system they use its these who control it - I cant really see that they would deck echelon but rather improve it - for one its a LOT of equipment they use and for another why pull it down when you can just think your way around a small problem like NZ pulling out. I really believe they do use Echelon still
I take the point that maybe thats why we know about it - because its defunct but there are people who demonstrate against its existence that are hassled by police and the SS (Ha! Security Services) so if its not still operating why the cover up still

 

It's true however that the world governments are keeping an eye on people all around the world. Moving everyone towards a police state is the only way they will get globalization accomplished.
