Rockstar Energy Drinks

I just had four Rockstar Energy Drinks back to back and I feel like I have taken about 60mg of Adderall. I feel like typing a rant, but I have to go smoke a Black & Mild to calm myself down a little. I can't even close my eyes and I feel like talking someone's ear off. My heart is beating kinda fast and I am sweating a little bit. I haven't stopped moving for the past hour or so and I am kinda shaking a little bit. My eyes keep crossing when I stare at my screen. I keep making typos and having to correct them, which is rare. Shit, I guess I ended up ranting a little, afterall.

Yeah they are. Plus, they are in 16oz cans instead of those little 8oz cans Redbull comes in. The guarana is the ingredient that really gets you hyped, not the caffiene. Guarana is sold on the internet and some people consider it a nice cocaine substitute.

 

yes i know... guarana are those little nut things. i can buy them at the store downtown for like 4$/ounce.
but theres no guarana in redbulls. theres taurine, but there is no guarana on the ingredient list... unless they just dont show it.

EDIT: nevermind, i checked the rockstars. there is guarana in rockstar drinks. just not in redbull... stupid redbulls

yep. i got the peruvian torch there... they have more stuff though. i remember the guy saying he had peyote cactis in the storage, and lots of other stuff they dont mention on their site... surely for safe reasons.

oh but i dont think you can order from them though. its just a boutique in Montreal... sadly, they should prolly work on that if they arent already. cause their stuff is great and they have lots

Shit man, I dunno what you're talking about. I just drank 2 rockstars and a lost and I feel like shit. Sure I'm hyper as fuck but its all just a restless nervous jitter and I have a terrible headache. I felt pretty good after the first one but it was all downhill from there. Ah well I've leanred that caffeine sucks in high doses. Damn I wish I had some speed. Well I'm gonna smoke a bowl and try and level myself.

On the plus side I can play guitar pretty wicked right now.

Just wanted to add something, Guarana is the plant not the chemical, the main active chemical in Guarana is caffiene the same as in coffee and in redbull, guarana also cotains analogues of caffiene but the caffeine is the strongest present stimulant. You will get pretty much the exact same feeling from drinking coffee or redbull as you will from drinking a guarana containing drink.

The main reason as far as I can see that companies choose to use guarana in thier energy bars or drinks is jsut so people will see that it contains gurana and presume that it is in someway better or less harmfull than caffiene.

I can see why people might describe Guarana as a nice cocaine substitute but it is no more so than caffiene alone, Guarana/caffiene has a different mechanism of action to cocaine, acting mainly as an adenosine antagonist and sympathetic nevous system stimulant whereas cocaine works mainly as a dopemine reuptake inhibitor and a central nervoyus system stimulant. Although both caffeine and cocaine lead to higher levels of dopamine being present the different ways they accomplish this is signifigant.

 

one time before a gig i drank like 4 red bulls. made my guitar playing all choppy and fast... sounded really forced. it was lame... although it did improve my stage prescence.

 

Yes I remember having one too many Rockstars while studying for an exam.. had difficulty shading my multiple choice answers because of the shaking.. aced the exam though.

 

at skate comps i seemt o alway get free red bull cos best friends with people that run them, so i drink like 6 at those things but i never really noticed much.

 

I *heart* rockstars! Rockstars are what get me through college. I drink one before taking a test/exam and I pass it. Drinking 4 would be intense!

Yo I drank 7 of these 16 ounce new energy drink called chronic at a snowboard camp and it was fucking scary i dont recomend it. I felt like people were trying to attack me and shit its not fun

 

Theres an energy drink out now called Cocaine, like its in a red can with a big white "COCAINE" written down the side of it. It has 350% more caffeine than red bull and it has an ingredient in it that numbs your mouth and throat a little just like the real thing. On sale now worldwide. I once drank 4 monsters mixxed, in my "route 55" cherry lime aid form sonic and a few Mdews, I was out of town and could not get weed and it wad the middle of the summer, so I jsut wanted to see what would happen, I stayed up all night playing videogames and wlaking/running through the neighbor hood with my cousin.

I got in a dream liek state later becasue I was to tired to function and to hyped to sleep, so I watched the movie DannyDarko...
That was almost life changing. : )

It was a weird night, but pretty fun.

 

haha yeah sleep deprivation is an odd but sometimes fun feeling.
