Arrgh!!!!!!!! & not in a pirate way...SO I'm sick still & my friend was already having me do her a HUGE favor, which i figure, "What the hell? Couldn't hurt anybody.." & the favor is going to take a while to be totally done. She's one of my best friends so I want to help her & I like being a kind person. Today, she called & had me pick her up at the Amtrack, which is fine & all, but when I dropped her off where she needed to be, she didn't even thank me. I understand her not thanking me for the other favor because it is not done yet, but I thought she would for this. This makes me pretty sad. I feel used. "Thank you" would be enough.:&
I hate when people do that. Its so inconsiderate! But to the whole favor thing, if i were you, i'd just accept doing a few favors and not be going out of your way for everyone.
my rents get uber pissed at my buddies if they drive them anywhere and they don't say thanks for the ride.
i always thank for a ride but i wouldnt be offended if someone didnt thank me for one... if they're a buddy i'd do it for the whole reason of doing a bud a favour... and if i didnt like em... i'd tell em "godspeed" and drive away
yeaaaa its a friend i dont always thank em because they know i would do it for them and would get em back but if its someone i dont know really well then i will always thank em
That's ridiculous. Heck, my kids have been learning "please and thankyou" since the day they were born. And I must say that I've had many compliments on how well-mannered my kids are. I'm glad. I see so many people, children as well as adults, with absolutely no manners and it's infuriating! Didn't their parents teach them any better? Arrgghhh! *ahem* Sorry. I can understand your frustration. Next time she asks you for a favor, say you're busy.
did ya get a hug an a,luvin you at least?? what does karma have to do with your part of this anyway?? no part of karma says ya gotta be used..
karma isn't involving expecting something in return. good karma is from altruistism. no thank you are necessary. sometimes they are given, but thats not the point. you shouldn't do acts (in respects to karma) with the hope/desire/wish for anything (even a simple sentence) in return. sorry, i know it sucks when that happens, but i really think people (not you in specific) need to look into Karma before blaming it.
i know what real karma is. i guess i was using it as a way that most western society people use it as, "what comes around goes around." but above all i was thikning about manners. the karma part being just me doing a good deed. hopefully that makes sense; that i meant it in more of a sarcastic way?...:H
