Hi, my name's Sami, I'm from the UK and I'm 16. Just thought I'd tell you a bit about my self. I never got to experience any of the things that I hear about that happened in the 60s etc so I have been trying organise another festival. Unluckily though, I can never seem to organise one. I first got interested in the hippie culture when the Iraqi war began in '03. I was terrified that it was going to escalate into a world war and so I joined protesters marching the streets of London, trying to get the prime minister [Tony Blair] to change his mind. That's when I read about the peace festivals on the internet. I am currently at college doing my a levels and hoping to go on to uni to e a doctor [medicine]. welcome sami & you were right tobe scared, the mess we're in now, even thoughthe idiots in charge make things worse almost constantly..its only the beginning unless we shut them down keep on trying to organize something, & get some others to help..ya cant doit all on your own, but theres alotta others who feel the same oh & welcome
