It's going on now...you can actaully see thier website at renfestival.com We've been a few times before...things can be a little pricey at the shops, but very cool, especially for getting things like oils, and crystals, and cool hippy/period clothing. Food was reasonable. We had a lot of fun watching the mud shows and the joust!

the ohio renfest may be "fun" to go to once...other than that, forget it...it's very expensive...not particularly historical either...but the lady who portrays Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth does a good job, especially with the little kids...in summary: "been there, done that, not going back"

I would like to go, never have, but I don't know that I have the cash right now. How much exactly is the price of admission?

EnjoyTHEAbuse, I think it's like, ten or twelve bucks for an adult addmis. and around six or eight for kids. I don't think lil' kiddies get in free either...like I said, it's a little pricey, and yes, it's not really historically accurate...but I had a great time! I think my Hubs said he wants to go back again this year....check out that website for further details! It'll tell you everthin u wanna know! :)

gee, I guess I may have to revise my statement...my friend went, and she said it was overpriced as hell, in fact, it was sooo pricey, that it completely ruined any chances they had of having a good time. She asid they would have needed 600 dollars to really have fun. :O that sucks.....
