hey all,first time grower here i've been looking for some easy ways to grow weed. i saw somewhere online these single plant bubblers called oxy pots. are they any good??? also i was wondering if u still needed a lighting system for these things.if so what is the best reasonably priced light sytem with hangars n reflectors?
never heard of oxy pots, but if they are single plant bubblers, you'll still need a lighting system. CFL's are a cheap into light system and are fine for veg, but for flower you will want a HPS. HPS light systems are more expensive, but well worth it for flower. If you spend the extra money now and get a good HPS with an extended spectrum bulb then you can use it for veg and or flower. it'll prolly cost ya a hundred or 2 for the HPS. As for the bublers, if you want to do a hydro grow using bubler pots, you can make your own. Since this is your first grow, I'll advise against doing a hydro grow, and just use soil. Good luck --Dash
Dash is right! About hydro for a first grow - there is much less "room for error" when growing with any hydroponic method. It is really a good idea to learn the basics in soil first and then "step up" to hydroponics, imho.
