who is ROCK N' ROLL's GREATEST -bass- GUITARIST?

    i believe the best bassist ever was Geezer Butler. The bassist for Black Sabbath.

    The more I listen to Jack, the more I believe he is brilliant. It is no big thing to build in small ways on what has come before...it is a really big thing to invent a whole new way of seeing things. And, having said THAT, Phil Lesh. Astounding. Trailblazer.

    Mere ( huh...) technical proficiency doesn't get it for me. Finding paths never travelled, and going down them, well, that really defines an artist for me.
