Share anyexperiences you have had with eating weed. I've eaten large amounts of uncooked weed with no effect. It takes at least frying in a little butter or oil to release the goodness of the herb. I need to be flush with weed to even consider eating it, a small amount of bud goes a long way smoked. Unless ofcourse a batch of cookies made from mull butter cooked with heaps of leaf. (Fate of the males) Eating weed rocks, but it needs to be cooked, and you really need to eat more than you would smoke, like at least an 1/8 ounce of good bud, and the stone really kicks on for hours and can be very trippy.
you CAN eat raw bud without extracting the THC into fats or alcohol. the first step is to get a good potent plant. after harvest you need to start the process of drying, and curing. curing is VERY important, because it is the beginning stage of decarboxylation, or, transferring the non-psychoactive THCA produced by the plant into THC. the longer you cure the better, but not all of the THCA will be changed to THC. normally, at this point, the bud would be ready for smoking. smoking, using a lighter, decarboxylates more of the THCA and makes the weed more potent. but instead, we will use a different heat source to finish the job of decarboxylation. there are may ways to finish the job, but the quickest ways are using the oven or a food dehydrator. in an oven you should place the weed on a baking sheet, and turn the oven to around 150 degrees. once the oven is warm place the baking sheet into the oven for around 5 to 10 minutes. the buds should now have mostly THC and little if any THCA. using a food dehydrator, place the buds on the herb rack and leave them in till they are slightly brown and crispy(as much as a few days). the food dehydrator will not harm your buds because the temperature at which it runs isn't very high at all. this method is better than the oven because there is less risk of harming the buds. but, as with the oven method, the buds should contain mostly THC and little to no THCA. you can also use a stove and a pan but this method is hard to control. the weed is now ready to eat "Raw" AKA un extracted. this is tried and true. You don't have to use heat at all. THC is oil OR alcohol soluable. If you take 1/2 bottle of booze--I like to use tequilla--put weed in there, store it in a cool dark place and shake it daily, then drink it you will get drunk and high. Which is stronger depends on the alcohol/weed ratio, and the potency of the weed.
This is about sharing experiences, not about jumping on what I have to say. When you have heaps of dank weed i'll just about try anything. Fuck, I bet I've eaten more weed than you boys have seen in your lifetime, and the shit I am smoking right now would totally edit your brain. So, anyway, I thought I had cancer one day after eating a shit load of cookies. They were awsome and I was scattered. Cookies and road trips are great. The city is four hours down the road so time warps are great. Weed rocks.
Who said anything about a bag, I'm talking fresh cut, the smell, the taste, the vomit. That strain, just the smell alone was dryreach material.
man i ate some cookies made from some weed butter or some shit. i felt like i was vibrating hahaha. super high. great times.
I eat a lot of resin when I can get it. Great high, really a lot different than smoking, but you've got to be careful not to overdo it, and to make sure that it's the right kind of resin. Some will give you a nice ride up, but as soon as you close your eyes you're gone for an hour or so. Others you can go maybe 5 hours on just one piece and have a great time. The drought here has screwed supplies of skunk, but it's meant we got some really amazing resins coming through now. I've got a little Gold and some Caramello here. The Caramello was shit expensive, and not as good as the gold, but that's only my take. SlashnBurn
I got really high for two days from drinking raw fan leaves through a masticating juicer. That was the highest I have been in years.
