I almost never wear high heels, but I quite often wear kitten heels if I am going out but flats are by far my favourite option as I am slightly taller than the average woman (5"7).
They make your butt look better. My butt is little, so it helps my booty out. I broke my toe, so I had tp switch to platforms when I go out. They are still fun and sexy, but not like my heels.
i wear them because they look nice with my outfits, and i don't find them to be uncomfortable at all. i learned how to wear them when i was younger because i went to private school and we had to wear dresses all of the time and had to wear closed toe shoes. but i'm tall enough, and my boyfriend doesn't like me to wear heels because it makes me even more taller than he is. (i'm 5'11" and he is 5'10")
This is true. They make your tits and ass stick out. And yes, they are HORRIBLE for your feet and calf muscles. I haven't been able to wear them since my surguries and I really wish there were more fashionable, affordable flat shoes.
I think they're really comfy if you find decent ones. I have wide, fat feet so I don't get the pointy ones. But wedge heels, kitten heel flip flops, and high heeled rounded toe shoes are awesome. Then again, I've always walked on my toes anyway so heels are actually MORE comfortable than flats.
no thats awesome.. i wish i could do that esp knowing how many guys out there LOVE tall women... yes many guys get tired of constantly dating women a foot shorter than them (no offence to any shorties out there). An ex of mine told me how there was a real shortage in the world of tall women. They prevent neck strain apparently.
LOL, this reminded me of a friend of mine. She's 5'2, same as me, and her man is 6'5. You should see a pic of them together, it almost seems unnatural!!!!! lol
because some shoes are so pretty that they're almost works of art also because they look GREAT with cocktail dresses!
there's an historical precedence for the sexual attractiveness of limiting a woman's mobility.... me, they just make my legs look really good. and when i was pregnant, wearing a 1-2" heel actually really helped my back. i've found that low heels really even out my posture. however, mostly i'm just barefoot. which means no sexy strappy stiletto sandals for me. my feet are practically mocassins.
I hear that on helping the back. I have a damaged sciatic nerve and wearing heels streches the piriformis muscle, taking pressure off the nerve. Which gives me some relief!
the only time i ever wore high heels was for a play.. i had no other choice. hah im a short lady, 5'2.. but its just not worth it to me. during the play, i tripped on the stairs and ripped my dress.. cause the shoes just dont work.. i'll probably never own a pair.. i hate them.
because, as my boy says, they "make your butt pop" and because i'm short and all my pants are about 4 inches too long - stick a pair of heels under there and voila, they fit correctly! i think some people were meant for heels, and some weren't. there's nothing sadder than watching some poor girl try to walk in a pair of four inch heels and looking like a lumbering, flat-footed horse. i love the episode of sex and the city when carrie is robbed of her "strappy sandals" and spends the next few minutes on her tiptoes trying to regain her lost height
I wear heels only when my back and leg aren't acting up, which isn't too often. Today would not be a good day for heels. Then again, who wears them at 2:15 in the am? I like those kitten heels (I can't believe I know what they are) Sometimes certain pants are just made to be worn with heels I think, they might look good when you're wearing them with flats but put on a pair of heels and wow they look so much better. I have a friend who is about 5 ft. she has to hem her pants AND wear heels all the time because she has such a hard time finding pants that are the right length. Another friend was trying to teach me to walk in heels a few years back (I'm new to the "girly" stuff like wearing heels and make-up, it's still a rarity) she said that you should walk like you are squeezing a quarter between your butt cheeks.... I don't do it, but I think of it every time I wear heels. I think about all of my friends would be amazed that I am discussing heels, let alone shoes of any type right now.
because they're pretty and we love shoes. i'm speaking for myself actually... not all women. and they make my legs look long,.. my legs are usually stubby.
I wear heels, but small ones. No neck-breaking stillettos or wedges for me, thank you! My shoes have a small 1"-ish heel. Any more than an inch and I'm wobbling all over like an epileptic drunk on stilts!
there are alot of reasons to wear them. the most obvious is the way they make your body look. they stick out your tits and ass the make your legs look longer and many heels now a days are designed fabulously and they do become works of art. i never wear heels but i am in love with them they are just damn sexy
