getting started with a grow need help

im working on setting up my first grow... i was wondering if any of you have a good tutorial or mass pictures to help me threw cloning stage and what progation etc i should use... most likely 2 or 3 600w lamps. if cash presists 1 400w mh. 747cfm vortex inline, and couple shop light fluoros. all organics.. FFOF soil with guanos.. was thinking RW at first but have read mixed things so either peat pellet, oasis, or rapid rooter... or any suggestions... was going to use dip n grow. any suggestions would be much appreciated...

 

I can see you've done some reading, or gotten advice from someone. But I recommend more reading. The single most important piece of equipment is a book. And there's lots of good ones out there, both in book stores and free, on-line.
-I recommend forgetting about cloning right now. The most important thing about your first grow is to get familiar with the basics of indoor cultivation.

A couple of random tips:
-Keep a grow diary. Write down everything pertaining to your garden. There should be an entry every day or 2.
-Always wash your hands before tending your garden.
-Tarp the floor of your garden. During the course of a grow you will spill stuff-water, nutrients, etc. Linolium, tile, wood can all harbor pest larva, and a carpet jeez a carpet is like a toxic swamp after a few grows.

 

ive been reading from OG to icamg to here about growing.... since 2000. ive got somas book and bogs book... ive helped friends with grows but haven't gotten to do my full on grow... so i need to learn about cloning as i have no knowledge really on it, except i take a lower branch cut it after a internode and take it under water cut it 4" long with a fan leaf and dip it in rooting homormone then into medium or something? im trying to see if what im going to do will work

i plant on using one of my bedrooms and making a giant box out of pvc... then black and white poly(panda film) house 2-3 600w'hps... with a 8" hole in the top of the poly for a 8" vortex fan(747cfm) with controller, then a hole or two 4-6" in the bottom for a passive intake and a 4-6" vortex on a can100 carbon filter for smell... would this all work out? the reason for it is holes in the cieling and walls wont be acceptable

 

Look in the Marijuana Growing Techniques section, the fourth "Sticky" down is all about cloning. But like the Ranger said you will have your hands full as a first time grower. Using clones to their full advantage involves proper timing and a full understanding of the whole life-cycle of the plant to keep things going non-stop.
