    hehe...my grandma says when she dies I can have all her mama the papas records....not that I'm anticipating her death or anything...

    I grew up listioning to them! and i still do all the time. there where and still are a big part of my life.:)

    I love the Mamas and the Papas' California Dreaming... all their stuff is really good, and i'm a big fan, but i'm really feeling California Dreaming at this time.

    I love THEM!!! Their voices are great together. I'm currently listening to "California Dreamin'" ................. Beautiful music it is.

    BH2 you prolly never heard of this band...lol... I love their song "mama cass". My fav was Denny Dougherty.

    The TRUTH about Cass was a HEART Attack NOT a fucking ham sand!! Her weight, plus the stress of her career was too much. RIP you lovely woman. look it up
    But, man... Lemon Tree rocks. And Thanks to John Denver for sharing your 'Leaving On A jet Plane'.

    I saw 'Mama' Cass Elliott,a few weeks before she died at: 'The London Palladium' in 1974.I still remember her on the stage, vividly even though I was only 10 years old at the time.
    I prefer listening to their 'album tracks' rather than their most famous hits.
    I believe-without checking this-that Michelle Phillips is the only one still alive today.
